Built-in Handle
Great for both quick clean-ups and more thorough cleaning, Chameleon features a built-in, 360 degree swivel handle. The full size handle is much easier to remove
than other retractable hose systems that feature a short nub-style handle that requires you to stick your fingers into the dirty opening to remove the hose. Use the handle on its own to vacuum up a quick mess or attach a cleaning tool for more versatility.
Works Great With & Without Hose Socks
The Chameleon is engineered to minimize stretch and bunching of the hose sock during normal repeated use. The design also prevents the hose from falling out of the valve. How? The Chameleon locks onto the hose-end cuff, NOT the hose itself.
Other retractable valves lock onto the actual hose with a clamp-style lock that grabs onto and stretches both the hose and hose sock. However the Chameleon locks onto the hose-end cuff, not the hose, so it allows the hose sock to freely travel with the hose and not bunch, while reducing hose stretch. The Chameleon also reduces friction on the hose with a straighter, unencumbered hose path and a wear insert that’s made of slippery, low-friction acetal material designed to reduce wear on the hose and hose sock.
The result: smoother, more efficient operation, so the hose and sock have a longer life!
Automatic Turn-Off
The Chameleon's switch is conveniently located behind the hose handle to allow for an automatic shut-off of the system when you're done vacuuming. Or you can use our battery-free RF handle for the ultimate in convenience.

Hybrid Retractable/Standard Central Vac System
Chameleon joins the benefits of retractable hoses with the affordability of standard central vac inlets. The result is a true hybrid system of both hose management and storage. Perfect for both new construction and existing homes!
We start by installing a Chameleon retractable hose valve in the busiest area of your home. You immediately experience the benefits that a retractable central vac hose brings. We then install standard central vac valves in the other areas of your home (or if your home already has central vac, you use the valves installed).
You carry the Chameleon hose to those valves for complete cleaning coverage. Simply return and retract the hose to the Chameleon valve and repeat when necessary.
